​Century Mile Racetrack and Casino is a popular casino in Edmonton for horse racing and casino gaming. It is located adjacent to the Edmonton International Airport. Opened on April 1, 2019, it stands as Western Canada’s only “A-level” one-mile racetrack, offering a unique blend of live racing and casino entertainment.

Century Mile features a flat, one-mile dirt track that hosts year-round live racing events, including Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse, and Standardbred races. Notably, it is the current venue for the Canadian Derby, a prestigious Grade III race for three-year-old Thoroughbreds, held annually in August.

This race is part of the Western Canadian Triple Crown, alongside the Manitoba Derby and the British Columbia Derby
