Daily Grand is a Canadian lottery game coordinated by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, as one of the country’s three national lottery games, alongside Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max. This lottery was launched last year on October 18, 2016, and the first draw was held on October 20, 2016 now this lottery has been launched in Atlantic Canada.
Winning numbers are chosen from five of 49 main numbers, and a “Grand Number” from 1 to 7. The Grand Number can also be used to match numbers from the five main numbers. A single board costs $3, and the game’s top prize is an annuity of $1,000 a day (with a $7,000,000 lump sum option). Draws are held bi-weekly on Monday and Thursday nights.
A lump sum option is available for the top two prizes and is the only option if there are multiple winners. The annuity will last for the remainder of the winner’s life, with a guaranteed period of 20 years (a beneficiary is chosen to receive the remainder of the 20-year minimum balance if the winner dies before the 20 years pass).

How to play Daily Grand Atlantic Lotto online?
You can play the Daily Grand Lottery online at the Atlantic Lottery website.
For this, you need to sign up and create your account at the site.
You should be 19 years of age or older and a resident of and should be physically located in Atlantic Canada.
Purchase the lottery ticket by depositing $3 online with a credit card and other payment options as given.
For $3, you get a selection consisting of five Main Numbers from 1 to 49 and one Grand Number from 1 to 7. You can either choose your numbers or try InstaPik.
- For $1 add TAG. This add-on game gives you additional chances to win and is only available in Atlantic Canada.
- Purchase tickets for future draws by setting up a subscription, or advanced plays.
- Your wager is official when it appears in your Transaction Detail as ‘completed.’ The lotto team will check your numbers for you and notify you by email and in your Messages link at alc.ca.
Use Insta to pick or choose your numbers from the ticket or play a combination and create your ticket.

How to play the Daily Grant lottery in the Store?
Ask your retailer for the Daily GRAND selection slip, which contains 49 numbers to choose from.

- First Download the Atlantic lottery app from iTunes for iOS devices. Or download it here for Android.
- Once you have got the app on your smartphone be it Android or iPhone then you need to create your account with Atlantic Lottery if you have not done so previously.
- Select the Daily Grand lotto and purchase the ticket.
- You can pay online with your mobile by credit card or by using WebCash, Interac or EPB (Electronic Bill Payment) to play this lottery.
- Note that for Android cell phones make sure your device is set up to allow installation of apps outside of the Play Store. - If you have won $250 then redeem your prize at lottery retail locations.
- Redeem tickets of up to $9,999 at any branch of the Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank) in Atlantic Canada, or in person at Atlantic Lottery’s Head Office in Moncton, NB. Download the AL Claim Form
- If your ticket is a winner of $10,000 or more, contact Atlantic Lottery at 1-800-561-3942 to make arrangements. You will need to present your ticket and two pieces of ID (including one with a photo). If you are a member of a group win, you will all be required to sign a group agreement form.
- For prize winners between $10,000 and $20,000, an AL communications representative will be in touch to help you tell your story. When claiming a prize, you are required to let us use your full name, city, province, prize amount, and current photograph to publicize your winnings.
- For prizes of $10,000 and more, the player receipt will say “Claim Centrally” which means you should present your ticket to an AL office.

All cash prizes of up to $9,999 and free plays are deposited directly to your alc.ca account.
Cash prizes of $10,000 and over (and merchandise) must be claimed at the lottery office.
